no yin without yang

Bad news: a prominent contributor to (and co-founder of?) an old AOL site I used to frequent back in the late 1990s died, quite suddenly, of a heart attack. The news came in an email, and led me to a tribute site where I saw a bunch of (screen)names I haven't seen in, oh, nearly ten years.

Good news: my Swiss "mother" wrote me her first email. She's still learning the ropes, but it's cool to get a message from her. Now, if I can somehow convince my own mother to do the same...
