Dad blows me away

My father recently wrote to offer his services as a documentarian for part or all of the trans-America walk. Wow. I've asked Dad whether he meant that he was thinking of walking with me. If true, that's an astounding offer, and I'd gladly accept. What could be cooler? I haven't heard back from Dad yet, but I did want to note, publicly, how touched I was, even if what Dad really meant was that he planned to drive or bike alongside me.
