A powerful typhoon is expected to hit the Kanto and Tokai regions on mainland Honshu from late Thursday night until early Friday, the Meteorological Agency said.
As of 2 p.m. on Thursday, the typhoon, the ninth of the year, was located about 120 kilometers west of Hachijo Island in the Pacific Ocean. It was heading north at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour.
As André Kim might squeal, "Brrrraith yourthelvth!"
