One of my constant concerns is the threat that China poses to world peace. Taiwan will only be the trigger for a wider war, which will doubtless include their unwarranted claims to the Philippines' territory. I used to think it was a war China would undoubtedly lose, but our Navy has gone to shit and the industrial capacity that saved us in WWII no longer exists. So, if this happens the world will be fucked.
