At the Daejeon city animal shelter you will find countless birds, cats, dogs, ferrets, Guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, rabbits, and even the occasional fish. Even without initial costs, there's vet bills and flea/tick/heartworm treatment and of course food. Wish you could have him. He'd complicate your life, but add a lot too.
