Lucky for me, my Korean and Hanja (Chinese character) lesson today didn't include a diagnostic test, but it was determined that, yes, I probably should have been in Level 3 and not Level 4. Then I got buried under a pile of homework.
The Chinese say you have to "eat bitter" to know sweetness. The Korean proverb about suffering is more terse: bul-haeng joong, da-haeng, which means, "In the midst of suffering-- happiness."
It was a good Korean/Hanja lesson. I look forward to more. I s'pose that means I should get off this blog and actually study.
But since I love distracting myself, you'll be happy to know that I have finally obtained a copy of JK Rowling's Meisterwerk, Harry Potter and the Odor of the Penis, and will review it maybe a week or two from now. There's only one question I'm worried about: will this be the book where Hermione applies the Wingardium Leviosa spell to her own breasts?
Good Lord. I'm 39,000 won poorer.
Snax Chrispi.
