tremblement de terre, ji-jin

An earthquake is God's borborygmus, a sign that he's digesting.

This afternoon (Tuesday), northern Virginia felt the gentle rumble of an earthquake. I was sitting at the computer when it happened. Didn't feel like much-- just a 20- or 30-second rumble moving upward from the floor through my chair and into my ass. My fat barely jiggled. But it was interesting.
