In regards to your Christmas Party invitation, if you do actually get sick, then I encourage you to go and be as visibly ill as possible. If not, then I think that you should go and make people uncomfortable. Hit on your boss. Stare at people without blinking. Start a conversation, then wander away once the other party is engaged. Refuse to drink with anybody or eat any food. Wear an inverted pentagram necklace or a Star of David to celebrate the event. Maybe nail a tiny Santa to the front of a tiny cross and wear it on your lapel. You get it?
