Interesting discussion going on over at Dr. Vallicella's blog in this post.
I'm an opponent of intelligent design theory, though I agree with Bill of Bill's Comments that ID is worth discussing.
The discussion at Dr. Vallicella's site is a bit over my head, but may be worth your while if you're into that sort of thing. I added my own (admittedly feeble) comments, but expect to be either ignored or roundly smacked by the bigger IQs in the thread.
Give it a read. Fascinating topic. Bill, of course, has been plugging away at the same topic on his own blog for quite some time and in much greater depth than I have.
