Interesting article about the riots over at OhMyNews International. Unfortunately, the article invokes Charles de Gaulle at the very end (today we know de Gaulle as the ghost whose "contrepoids"/counterweight foreign policy has informed both François Mitterrand and Jacques Chirac over the past several decades). Aside from that little blot, the article is quite readable.
