He left a memo in an Internet chatroom just before killing himself to call for a gathering in Seoul on Saturday in support of the disgraced researcher, the news agency said.
Before Americans start guffawing, it would be wise to remember the furor at Paramount Studios when loyal Trekkies learned that the character of Spock was to be killed off in "Star Trek 2."
