My scanner now works, but because the new driver is shareware, it looks as though I'll have to pay to be able to use the program correctly. Right now, the scans are useless to me, because the shareware product places obnoxious dollar-sign watermarks all over the image. Looks like I'll be buying the full suite, but that's going to have to wait about two business days, because I only just wired a load of cash to the States.
Upshot: pics of the cover design will have to wait until about Tuesday.
