Damn! Jeff of Ruminations got into a motorcycle accident a few days back, and I somehow missed this. Judging by the tone of his blog post (which I assume he wrote from a laptop while in hospital), he seems chipper, relatively speaking. But sentences like “Dude, your toes are shredded” and "My right leg was numb and bent inward at the thigh at a particularly odd angle" aren't exactly reassuring. Let me join the chorus of those suggesting that you pay Jeff's blog a visit and leave a message. Twenty-some comments are already appended to that post, so I can only express my apologies to Jeff for not having seen his entry sooner.
