Everyone's talking about the possibility of a North Korean nuke test (see here for good commentary). My own view?
Successful NK nuke test = faster Japanese remilitarization.
If the French-speaking Ban Ki-moon is really on his way to occupying the Great Bejewelled Throne of the United Nations, whence he shall rule the earth with an iron fist... he'll be obliged to make some comments on the Nork issue. Will his comments merely be a reflection of current South Korean opinion, or will he show himself capable of formulating statements that reflect consideraton of more than just what the peninsula thinks?
