postal scrotum: Charles with more

This was too good to pass up.

I previously wrote:

Meanwhile, we both can agree that Korean dramas need a lot of help. For foreigners, these dramas might best be seen as language aids. Then again, whether they teach true "saeng-hwal-hanguk-eo" is another subject for discussion.

Charles replied by email:

Strangely enough, many foreigners (in particular women from other Asian countries) view the Korean language as a drama aid. That is, they don't watch dramas to learn Korean, they learn Korean to watch dramas. Whenever I hear about someone like this a little part of me dies inside.
