thank you

I mentioned it in passing earlier today, but I just wanted to say a formal thank-you to those in the uniformed services. Happy Veterans Day to you. And while today isn't Veterans Day in Korea (it is, alas, Pepero Day), I'd like to extend my thanks to the present and former members of the Korean armed forces as well. Soldiering is something I've always respected. It takes commitment, focus, and iron self-discipline. At its best, the military embodies martial virtues that can be applied outside the military context: honesty, courage, efficiency, loyalty, and adaptability. For those reasons and many more, thank you.

UNRELATED NOTE: Congrats to GMJ on becoming Doctor GMJ!
