keeping each other honest

I think Hollywood, to the extent it skews liberal, has every right to use its power to express discontent with the Iraq war. But the artistic community does not have the right to take license with the truth in order to make its points (the same maxim applies in the other direction, of course; examples of untruthfulness abound on both sides). I've been steadily losing respect for Tim Robbins on this score, and I agree with Malcolm Pollack's dim view of Sean Penn.
