It's a rare day when I engage in one of these silly quizzes, but I saw this at
Naked Villainy and thought,
What the hell. Strangely enough, I scored the same as my buddy Mike:
|
Which Great US President Are You Most Like? created with QuizFarm.com |
You scored as George Washington 1st President, in office from 1789-1797 Born: 1732 Died: 1799
George Washington | | 74% | Dwight Eisenhower | | 71% | Ronald Reagan | | 69% | Theodore Roosevelt | | 69% | John Kennedy | | 67% | Woodrow Wilson | | 62% | Franklin Roosevelt | | 57% | Abraham Lincoln | | 55% | Thomas Jefferson | | 48% | Harry Truman | | 45% | Lyndon Johnson | | 38% |
|
Mike and I aren't exactly at the same place on the political sliding scale, which makes the similarity of our results rather creepy. Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that
everyone scores as George Washington? (Or maybe it's just us INTJs...)
_
If it's any consolation, I scored Dwight Eisenhower.
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow INTJ I got Dwight Eisenhower though I am not American and I'm sure that affected my answers.

Ronald Reagan, with 67%. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy number two result was George Washington, with 62%.
I also forget which four letters sum up my personality type, but I'm sure Kevin will be able to tell me.
Charles,
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely an off-the-scale INTJ like me.
I/E = No contest. You're a writer, a scholar, and an all-around introspective/philosophical person. Definite "I." I assume your taste for the occasional social gathering places a lot of stress on occasional, as is true for me.
N/S = Your creative bent and the fact that you run Liminality is all that needs to be said here. "N" all the way.
T/F = You can occasionally be a hardass, as can I. Principles count more than weepy, spineless emoting (or so a "T" would say regarding "F" people).
J/P = Your highly organized life (and the fact that you might deny it looks organized from your point of view) is strong evidence of your J-ness. Anyone who writes "to-do" lists or develops some sort of five-year plan as opposed to drifting along on a wave of "who knows what's next?" is a J person.
Conclusion: very INTJ.
This might mean that, when you get good and relaxed (or good and drunk?), your shadow side, ESFP, comes out and you can go nuts. Not on a Mel Gibson scale, perhaps, but the nuttiness is there, waiting.
Kevin
Dwight Eisenhower here and I'm ENTP (Just like Wile E. Coyote!)

Well, Kevin, in regards to your more recent posting, I tend to think--like you--that these quizzes are for the birds. That being said, they can be interesting, and this one was interesting. I think you're entitled to put up a quiz like this on your blog--just remember that this is the masculine blogging equivalent of a woman reading her horoscope!
ReplyDeleteWell, I enjoyed your post, and for the heck of it, I went and took the quiz, too, even though I am not an American. The funny thing was that I predicted the result ahead of time: Eisenhower.
By the way, when I was a boy, I must have read encyclopedia articles on most of the US presidents. I know more about past US presidents then I do about past Canadian Prime Ministers.
I wouldn't normally comment on a quiz, but since it seems to annoy you:
ReplyDeleteI was Theodore Roosevelt.
