It's curtains for Ming Tsai and Chef Tio. The two finalists are the two Italians, Chefs Forgione and Canora. It ought to be an interesting battle next week.
Canora has been consistently excellent, while Forgione has flashes of real brilliance. I'd place the odds at 65 Canora, 35 Forgione... and while either of them would make a fine Iron Chef, I find Forgione to be a little more interesting. More Iron Cheffy, if you will.
Tsai was workmanlike, but had a tendency to complicate things unnecessarily. Good TV chef, but not an Iron Chef, IMNSHO.

Farewell, Ming! Come back soon!
