Excellent observation. We don't know who he is. We also have called him centrist, socialist, leftist, liberal, collectivist, and others trying to determine his political philosophy. Actually Chicago thug is probably as good as any.
You've forgotten the two he likes comparing himself to, Lincoln and FDR. Of course, Jonathan Alter and the rest of the Goddamned Liberal Media helped him along with that.
