  1. Yikes! I hadn't noticed the substantive requirement before. I've always been borderline relevant, but I don't think I've had a substantive thought since 2003.

I hope you'll continue to indulge my feeble attempts at humor...

    Cheers!

  2. Someone had written a perfectly friendly, substantive comment, but hadn't given a name, so I deleted it. Unfortunate but necessary: I'm not a fan of anonymous commenting.

  3. Kevin,

If you get the chance, you might want to catch the film, The Descendants.

I'll let the movie speak for all the world's dysfunctional family members for itself, but at least it put mine in some perspective and made me realize that, no matter the locale, people are flawed and prone to hurting the ones they love.

READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING!

All comments are subject to approval before they are published, so they will not appear immediately. Comments should be civil, relevant, and substantive. Anonymous comments are not allowed and will be unceremoniously deleted. For more on my comments policy, please see this entry on my other blog.

AND A NEW RULE (per this post): comments critical of Trump's lying must include criticism of Biden's or Kamala's or some prominent leftie's lying on a one-for-one basis! Failure to be balanced means your comment will not be published.
