I forgot to mention this when you wrote about watching "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy," but for my money, the best spy flick that I've ever seen (and just recently at that) is John Huston's 1969 masterpiece The Kremlin Letter with its all-star cast and an ending for the ages.
So much for a "brief post." And I left so much out of that entry, too. Like all of my belching exploits. They paled in comparison to what I was doing the next day--apparently I just needed a little warming up. But it's all just shadows compared to my former glory days in college.

AND A NEW RULE (per this post): comments critical of Trump's lying must include criticism of Biden's or Kamala's or some prominent leftie's lying on a one-for-one basis! Failure to be balanced means your comment will not be published.
