Yes, folks, my computer is apparently dying. What a shame. The monitor's flickering seems to have stopped, but only because the monitor is now about 30% darker than it used to be. I'm debating whether to take the computer to a local repair shop, or perhaps buy a terabyte hard drive onto which I can load all my data before The End arrives (and then buy a new computer... but with what money?). How sad. Such an ignoble end for a noble machine.
