Although the image may not have originated with philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, the "duck-rabbit" has become intimately associated with him and his theories. A New Jersey fisherman named Doug Cutler, however, has offered the world a creature that could replace the duck-rabbit in philosophical discourse: a humongous lamprey that, depending on how you look at it, could be either a giant penis or a ravening vagina dentata:
