"Fascinating" is the right word. I'm fascinated by the idea that a young kid can be wired so reliably to be an asshole-- to do exactly the opposite of what polite society expects of him. Maybe some kids really are born bad seeds.

Reading about this kid is like watching videos of car accidents on YouTube--fascinating, but only because it isn't happening to me.
