It's the 15th. We're supposedly paid on the 15th of every month. I'm about to find out whether that works for Sundays as well. At my previous job, at YB, we were paid every two calendar weeks, and always on a Friday, so there was never any question about whether I'd have my dinero. In an hour or so, I'll grab my tongjang (bank book), which can act like an ATM card, and see whether I can withdraw some cash. If I can, I can eat today. If I can't, well... it'll be a water diet until tomorrow. Not a horrible prospect: a certain level of starvation can be conducive to focus—which I need, since I have to design two quizzes.
Watch this post for an update later.
