You should definitely take the time to watch this fascinating talk by Ayaan Hirsi Ali on the deep differences between Muslim and Western culture, belief, and jurisprudence. The linked video is on a Change.org page that petitions Barack Obama to examine whether Islam is antithetical to human rights. It's not the sort of petition one expects to see on a Change.org page, but there we are.
