It's amazing to me that anyone, in this day and age, can look at the pile of evidence against centralized, redistributionist economies and still think that something like socialism is a viable alternative to capitalism. Keeping in mind that capitalism and free markets are full of their own inherent faults, I'd still pick the competitive, decentralized, mercilessly Darwinian paradigm over socialism any day of the week.
