I've written a lot about my views on socialism, but in this post, I want to focus on socialist hypocrites: they're hypocrites for espousing and promoting central planning and equitable redistribution all while enjoying the fruits of capitalism and manifestly not "spreading the wealth around," as President Obama so colorfully put it years ago. Here's an article on Michael Moore, no enemy of socialism, who turns out to own nine homes—a fact unearthed during Moore's divorce proceedings. (Liberals bashed John McCain, years back, for being unable to recall how many homes he owned. Guess the old warhorse wasn't the only one out there with a home-collecting addiction, eh?)
Then, of course, there's Bernie Sanders, avowedly socialist and the owner of three large properties. I'm not sure how these people manage such self-contradictions inside their own heads, and truth be told, I'm starting to get tired of rich, over-entitled people telling the rest of us to suffer under the yoke of socialism.
