I walked a couple miles across town from the Montparnasse area to the Eiffel Tower, getting lost along the way. It was a fun walk, not to mention a great way to see part of Paris, a city I've never liked all that much, but which somehow felt friendlier this time around. I had my bearings when I walked back to the train station, so the return walk was much shorter, but I still managed over 21,000 steps on Friday.
