quick note

I arrived in Seoul at 6:40 this morning (Sunday). I still have a final pic dump or two to splash all over the blog, so get ready for that. Meantime, I read John McCrarey's heartfelt evocation of the ghosts of his past. John writes:

I don’t mean to come off as a wuss. I’m dealing with [the past and the memories it brings forth] as best as I know how. But during the jet lag fueled sleepless hours my mind can’t seem to stop itself from “going there”. I know that life is gone forever, but it still makes me sad.

Okay, I’ll shut up now.

Well, John, for what it's worth: things could be much, much worse.
