walk to Niort: there and back again

These final shots were taken once I was back in my room at Dominique's place. They're of the large cemetery that sits next to the local church, whose name turns out to be l'Eglise Saint Eutrope, a saint I'd never heard of.

And finally, your humble narrator:

I ended up getting sick after that monster of a walk, which totaled over 40,000 steps, when all was said and done. I went to bed on Tuesday night with a fever and a sore throat, possibly because I caught the bug from Tim, who's been sick since I got here, or because it was cold and musty when my walk started, which put me under the weather.
