PJW observes that Russia slammed its borders shut and has had only 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Impressive, and definitely not a case for open borders.
As I've said before: a country's border is analogous to your skin. If you think we don't need borders to regulate the influx and outflow of desirable and undesirable elements, then take a potato peeler, video yourself peeling off your own skin, and send me the video. After all: down with all boundaries, right? While you're at it, remove the doors and walls of your house and apartment so that anyone can pass through whenever s/he wants. Walls = racism!
