I met someone a few days ago—someone who obviously thinks of himself as witty and insightful. I found much of what he had to say rather trite: I've heard it all before, and I suspect he thinks he's the first one to discover the clichéd insights he shared. I could also tell he thought he was funny. I saw very little in the way of wit and humor, alas. This was an example of someone exuding confidence but lacking competence in both the wit and humor departments. Dunning-Kruger all the way.
The description at the link sounds like most lefties.
