A shame to see that Donald Trump endorsed Greg Abbott, and not the much more intelligent and principled Allen West, for governor of Texas. Abbott won the primary and is the official GOP candidate for governor. He's running against—I kid you not—Beto O'Rourke, who doesn't have a chance in hell, especially with the Democrats in the dog house these days thanks to Drooling Joe. Then again, I see that Abbot got 1.3 million votes in his primary, and O'Rourke got 0.96 million votes in his primary. That's actually not too far apart. Still, I don't think O'Rourke seriously stands a chance given the current national climate. Just a guess. Gotta give O'Rourke credit, though, for being stupid enough not to know when to quit. Think he'll still be talking about taking away people's guns? After everything we've seen in Canada and Ukraine?
