dinner with Tom and boy

I'm supposed to meet my buddy Tom and his son this evening for dinner. Tom is a creature of very strict habit, so I already know we'll be going to the usual place in Jongno for some galmaegi-sal (grilled pork) and then ice cream afterwards. Tom might surprise me, though: I know there's a Mexican place in Jongno that he likes, and with his boy there, decisions might play out a bit differently. But I doubt it.

That makes today a quasi-cheat day, even though it shouldn't be. I had a cheat day just last week, and our office luncheon is coming up at the end of the month. I think I'm going to burn some extra calories by walking home from Jongno tonight. It's really not that long of a walk, but it might get a little rainy toward the tail end of the route. We'll see; I'll play it by ear. I don't mind getting soaked when the weather is warm.
