if you're Italian, you might not want to watch this

Italians, please leave the room. The video below will have you screaming. I embed the video here merely to show people how not to cook Italian food. Holy Jesus, this is bad. What's funny is that, for the first minute or two, it started off somewhat optimistically. I actually liked what they were doing with the ragù bolognese. It started off with a proper mirepoix (soffritto in Italian, although technically, soffritto also involves cooking the mirepoix in olive oil) and followed most of the classical steps to the final product. Then, they messed it up by laying down a thin, red sauce on top of which they put the ragù.
