August is usually the most brutal summer month, but there's one sign that fall is on its way: it's getting darker earlier. It used to be that daylight would extend to about 8 o'clock, but now, it's pretty dark by 7:30. August is a hot month, and so is much of September, but I have hope that fall will rescue me soon.
