Friday & Monday meals

I've figured out what I'm going to do with my leftovers: on Friday, we'll have quiche and apple crumble. On Monday, it'll be ravioli with creamy wine crab sauce and an apple galette. After all that, I'll still have some food to burn through before I can truly call my pantry empty, but the Friday and Monday meals will go a long way to emptying out my cupboards.

As the Meyers-Briggs test notes, I'm a "J" person—judging, which in the context of the test means I feel better after making a decision than before making it. Decisiveness, conclusiveness, completeness—these are a few of my favorite things. Some people, the "P" people (perceiving), feel pleasure when they open a menu and see a gazillion choices; I'm the kind of person who zeros in on what he wants and feels pleasure after having decided.

So, yes: it's nice to have a plan. I'm not a fan of nebulous futures.
