delay, delay, delay

The CEO's jerking us around again. We heard before that we'd be going in at 2 p.m. today. Yesterday, that got changed to 4 p.m. A few minutes ago, another call from the CEO's secretary came in: we're now starting at 6 p.m.

"He's testing us," said my boss of the CEO's wishy-washiness. When do you stop testing and start trusting your veteran employees? I'm betting that our presentation will be postponed until tomorrow, although frankly, I won't mind if we do end up teaching this evening—just this once, anyway: I wouldn't want to be tutoring the CEO at dinnertime for the next eight months. I have a feeling that boundaries are going to need to be set (re: office hours, I mean), and if the CEO is a man who doesn't like to hear "no" for an answer, then I guess I'll be out of a job.

ADDENDUM: the boss is presenting first for about an hour, then I'm going next. So if we start at 6, I'm going at 7.
