that new MLK sculpture in Boston

The new, $10.5-million Martin Luther King sculpture by Hank Willis Thomas, titled "The Embrace," was recently unveiled in Boston. Reactions are mixed. I kind of like it, but...

...while it makes sense from the front, ...

...it makes less sense from the back...

...and it weirdly reminds me of the Gangnam Style sculpture down the street from me:

Some detractors are already calling the new MLK sculpture a "piece of shit," but I'm a fan of disembodied-hand sculptures myself. Powerful symbolism.
