okay, one small quibble

In my review of "The Banshees of Inisherin," I said I had almost nothing to complain about, except maybe the fact that Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson play essentially the same roles they played in "In Bruges." I also said that that wasn't much of a complaint, which it wasn't. I still stand by all that, except for one further quibble that I regret not adding to the original review: Colm (Gleeson's character) never gets sepsis despite cutting off his own fingers and leaving his wounds generally untreated (his dog licks his wounds at one point... ugh). By rights, Colm's hand should have become a swollen, pustulating mass. Colm himself should have been wracked with fever and probably delirious for much of the story.

Maybe people were just tougher back then.
