It's kind of amusing, actually, but I'm still aching from Sunday's 18K walk. I haven't suffered lingering aches from distance walking in years. Right now, this means groaning every time I stiffly raise myself up from my seat, them shambling to my desired destination—usually the restroom. As I exercise more, the aches ought to go away, but this is a process, and it'll take a few months. The solution to the achiness is more walking (or biking).
Agreed. The path over the aches and pain is through them. Give yourself plenty of rest in the interim.
