It's a typical leftist tactic to gaslight, to respond to an accusation by saying, "What? No! Of course we're not doing that! You're just paranoid!" In the following video, Tim Pool talks about Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida "book ban." The claim, mainly coming from the right, is that the books being banned are essentially pornographic in nature. What? No! Of course we're not putting pornographic books in school libraries! cry the lefties. And then DeSantis shows some of the books being banned—books that had indeed made it into school libraries where kids can access them. I don't want to believe that the left is this obsessed with kids, but they apparently are.
I'm not sure when common sense became so uncommon. The wrongness of showing pornographic images to children should be something everyone agrees on, regardless of political leanings. I get that the left wants to use public schools as indoctrination labs, but it is sick and perverted to groom kids sexually. I just don't understand the motivation here.
