I have seen the English version of my contract (translated by my boss). A signing will happen soon. The contract is valid until December 31 of this year, so it's less than a year long, but if all goes as it's supposed to, that won't matter as I'm theoretically leaving my company to join a company being formed by my boss. Risky venture, but way more breathing room (if this all works), and maybe even some potential for greater earnings. More news as it happens.
Well, the nice thing is you have options and were willingly almost out the door not long ago. So, hopefully, this new internal venture with the boss works to your advantage, and if not, you can move on to the next big thing. That's workplace freedom!
