say it ain't so

My favorite kalguksu-jip was like this last Friday, then again yesterday (when I took this picture), then again today. Does this means the resto is going under?

While some of this guy's menu items are bleh, most of them are really good, and that kalguksu is something else (I can't eat it right now while I'm Newcastling, but in a few weeks, my sweet...). I sincerely hope this guy isn't going under, but being closed several days in a row isn't a good sign. The manager of the restaurant just on the other side of this one didn't want to speculate as to what might be happening, but I'm beginning to fear the worst.

One immutable truth of living in Korea is: everything I like disappears.
