toe update

We're back to not bleeding out to the sock again.

The Latin root for immaculate means "without blemish or stain."

a little dot on the bandage

Looks crispy, but this sort of thing happens all the time as blood dries.

I'm at a point where I don't really want to trim back the blackened callus right next to the wound hole. I want the hole to close up and for my body to work its ancient magic on the inside of the wound, perhaps reabsorbing whatever fluids might build up in there after the wound's surface closes. I want this whole process to be over with so I can get back to walking.

  1. Almost there. Letting nature take its course is a good strategy. You'll be burnin' up the trails again soon!
