It's odd, five years into my life here and I've never adapted to the local cuisine. I guess because I don't have to with so many restaurants catering to Western tastes. I think the only time I actually eat Filipino food is when someone has prepared a dish for a party or something similar. It's not bad, just different. I'm the same way with Thai food. It's weird how I became such a huge fan of Korean delicacies.
