visceral political ad making the rounds

I hadn't heard of Hung Cao before now. He's a US Naval Academy grad and a military vet who has served all over the world. He's now running for a seat on the US Senate to represent my home state of Virginia. (He'd tried unsuccessfully to run for the House of Representatives before.) His campaign commercial is simple but almost brutally effective with its visceral tone. And he obviously recognizes that we've reached a point where we're not merely fighting to retain a way of life—we're fighting for our lives. We are at war, and the question is: what will you do when the ominous knock on the door comes?
