By now, you've read my review of Season 1 of "Arcane," so here are a few videos I watched on the topic. "Arcane" was a surprise hit in 2021: people normally have low expectations about TV shows and movies based on video games, but the streaming series was crafted with obvious care and intelligence, resulting in a ton of discussion—by both gamers and non-gamers—of the fictional universe's lore, characters, and themes. I know my review wasn't the most positive, but as I said, I do respect the writing and the visuals. This is obviously a labor of love, and it's definitely not your typical, sloppy video-game adaptation. The story simply didn't connect with me fully, is all. Your mileage may vary.
